Conference Information

Welcome to Indianapolis, the racing capitol of the world - home of the Indianapolis 500, the Brickyard 400, and the Indycar Grand Prix. As friends from across the country gather, we look forward to celebrating this time together with a big win for all!!!

The theme for the 2017 Central/Western Regional Conference is "Regulating at the Crossroads of America". Indiana is known as the "Crossroads of America" and each day, regulators and those in the industry find themselves at crossroads. The business agenda will demonstrate "crossroads" on a number of diverse issues that may be new to some of the regulators and industry attendees. Some of the featured panels will discuss regulating sovereign nations, the role of unlicensed third party providers in our industry, mid-western craft trends and where they may be going, the ethical constraints of lying (which should qualify for CLE Ethics accreditation), state of the three tier system featuring discourse between Mike Madigan and Professor Alex Tanford, and much more! To view the entire business agenda and faculty of alcohol beverage experts serving as presenters, just click on the links below.

This year’s regional President’s Dinner will be held at the Eiteljorg Museum (which is approximately two blocks from the Westin). It is one of only two museums that explore both Indian and Western cultures east of the Mississippi – a perfect tie-in with our panel presentation on sovereign nations. In addition to a wonderful dinner and a chance to catch up with friends during the cocktail hour, the galleries will be open for you to explore.

Our downtown is filled with shops and eateries – all within walking distance from the Westin Indianapolis Hotel. So be sure to see the sights on Monday night during your free time or extended visit. We look forward to seeing you in Indy and are sure you will find our city welcoming.
